Hi, I’m Georgina! I’m a community volunteer with deep roots in rural Alberta and a strong belief that primary care works best when it is shaped by the people it serves. At the Bashaw Medical Clinic, our community-owned Patient Medical Home, I work alongside patients, staff and local leaders to help build a model of care grounded in relationships, trust and shared responsibility. I add capacity to the clinic by connecting people, ideas and systems to support meaningful change.
I am a current student at Athabasca University, completing a Master of Health Studies. Everyday, I continue to grow the knowledge and networks that support and advance my work in primary care innovation.

I’m a strategic healthcare leader and relationship builder with extensive experience guiding interdisciplinary teams and developing innovative, community-based primary care solutions. My years as a pharmacy owner have honed my partnership development and program implementation prowess as well as a strong foundation in navigating complex health systems. I am passionate about shaping equitable, evidence-informed health policy and eager to build advanced skills through graduate studies to influence systemic change in primary care innovation.
